PIANO

- Little Suzukis: 15min lessons for children from 3.5 years old to 4.5 years old.

- Suzuki Book 1: 30min lessons for children from 4.5 years old)

- Suzuki Book 2: 45min lessons for students that have finished Book 1

- Suzuki Book 3 and more: 45min to 60min lessons for students that have finished Books 1 and 2.

- Adults and traditional method: For anybody that would like to learn piano.

Piano lessons are given with the Suzuki method but students that wish to combine traditional method and other kinds of repertoire are welcome too!

The Suzuki Method Philosophy beliefs that with the right environment and circumstances, every child can play the instrument of their choice. This philosophy uses listening, imitation and repetition to help the student to learn the instrument as if it were their native tongue. Suzuki method involves the parent 100% of the time, which enables students to start lessons at a much earlier age than traditional lessons taken without parent supervision.

Prepiano (3 to 4.5 years old)

Spring session starting on March 15th.

Saturdays 10am and Fridays 4pm.

A parent-child workshop that develops the love for music and the pleasure of making it. In small groups, children will learn the basics of piano like the good posture, finger numbers, lots of singing, ear training, piano games and of course their first songs. . All activities are done by playing, singing and exploring the piano in a loving and welcoming atmosphere. This course prepares students to get started on the Suzuki method.

CHOIR

Singing in a choir is one of the most beautiful experiences music can give us. Children that sing in a choir will experience a sense of companionship, improve their self-esteem and develop brain connections. Here are a few of the benefits of sing in a choir:

1. Group membership. The performance of a song in the context of a choir becomes the symbol of true teamwork. All voices are perfectly integrated into a common objective. Therefore, each person develops their potential on a musical and human level.

2. Self-esteem, recognition and happiness. The feeling of belonging to the group is valuable for every human being, since it is social by nature. Therefore, choral singing significantly influences children´s self-esteem. They enjoy while they train, they share the enthusiasm for learning and they experience the positive benefits of the recognition they receive in the educational, family and social spheres.

3. Learn to listen. The child forms and educates his hearing and voice. He does this not only by singing, but also by listening to others. The group's sound offers constant accompaniment. In this way, participants identify possible tuning errors, as well as the beauty of the final sound when the voices reflect harmony.

4. Entertainment. Choral singing is an activity to which children can dedicate a significant part of their time. It is entertainment that offers positive values ​​through experience. Participants have the opportunity to establish bonds of friendship and camaraderie. Music is a form of communication. Children also exercise dialogue, empathy and social skills.
